S-M-A-P (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth)

Pelagic Group's 𝙅𝙈𝘾 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 (𝙅𝙈𝘾) is proud to have worked on the SMAP project, connecting Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth (S-M-A-P) through robust transcontinental subsea cable, built for the future.

Our team worked to pull a length of dyneema, attached to a cable and drum onshore, for 500 metres to an underwater point, enabling divers to then attach a float and connect the larger section to a ship.

We look forward to tracking the progress of the SMAP project as it continues to Adelaide then onto Melbourne and Sydney.
